The two Side fins positioned close to the rail provide tracking and guidance adding additional grip to extreme turns.
When railing up the board hard in carving turns like jibes and bottom turns, the tail tends to come out of the water which is most noticeable in top turns. In such extreme situations, the center or twin fins are less efficient or completely lose contact with the water. Then, the Side fin on the inside of the turn works and continues to provide grip.
These Side fins feature a balanced outline and an even rake curve. They feel direct and make turns tighter or more radical.
Important: The side fins (and the replacement covers supplied with the board) are made for Mini Tuttle Boxes (MT).
