The RAPID convinces with its inherent stability and lasting shape stability, which the freerace sail gets from its 7-batten slalom outline, the integrated Kevlar lines as well as 4 mil square-ply and 3 mil bi-ply. This makes it absolutely draft stable and scores with dynamic acceleration and top speed in the entire wind range. A wind hole coming up? No problem for the RAPID. It planes confidently through it without any loss of speed.
A slightly narrower mast sleeve below the boom and a modified profile of the battens above and below the boom shift the draft point slightly backwards in the new model. This improves the planing performance and reactivity, the sail offers even more power for the lower wind range.
Another advantage of the RAPID: Extended wind range and range of use for more speed and fun on the water, because the 9 cm offset clew eyelets allow to fully exploit the maximum trim range.
