Streamlined Alu Extension

Red-line extensions start with custom 32 millimeters, 6061 T-8 “drawn” aluminum tubing. The kind of tubing they use to make aircraft. Our tubing is engineered so that with its large diameter, the wall thickness can be thinner so the overall result is an incredible high strength, to low weight ratio. This formula has been proven with our years of experience. The holes are precision punched, then the tube is red anodized in and out, permanent laser numbered 2 centimeter settings. The adjustment settings are held with a hard anodized aluminum collar tethered with a spectra line to a stainless steel pin. Fail-safe and virtually break proof. Finally we attach our new beefy “Power-Six” super powerful 6: 1 downhaul cleat with large diameter pulleys, perpendicular for power, easy rigging and no crossed lines.

TUBE
Our Red-line RDM extensions are specially made with 32.5 millimeter diameter 6061 T-8 aluminum tubing. This kind of alloy is used to make aircraft to be lightweight and strong. We precision punch the holes and anodize the tubes inside and out. Finally we laser etch the height setting graphics so they are permanent. Streamlined equals quality.

POWER 6
This unique design puts six to one purchase power at your finger tips. It is quick and easy to set up and the lines don't cross because the large diameter pullies are in the right direction, as if your sail was made for it. It really comes together with a Dyneema “super down-haul” line. The power 6 gives you a truly simple yet powerful rigging advantage.

PRECISION CAST ALLUMINUM
Our “quick 6” design is built strong, like no other down-haul cleat system. The A356 T-6 sand cast aluminum is precision machined and anodized. It is then outfitted with stainless steel hardware and smooth running hard nylon pullies. It is all about performance and reliability.

LOCK
This security latch has two functions. First, it assures the Euro-Pin is completely engaged on the catch inside. Secondly, the security latch eliminates the release button from being pushed occasionally. All STREAMLINED Euro-Pin style extensions have this invaluable feature.
